Llewelyn-Davies Sahni, Inc. (LDS) is a Houston-based, award-winning firm that provides architectural, planning and design services to a wide array of client and project types. The firm has provided services in the aviation, healthcare, higher educational, recreational, and transportation/transit arenas, as well as private sector clients. Services include urban design, architectural design, programming, strategic master planning, conceptual planning, site planning, image plans, infrastructure development, program management, and construction administration for the development of new facilities and the renovation/retrofit of existing structures. The Firm is seeking to hire experienced architects. Currently four key positions are available in Houston, Texas - a senior project architect/manager, a senior architect/urban designer, and two mid-level architects. These positions involve an understanding and delivery of projects related to urban planning and institutional architectural design, including sustainable development, transit-oriented development, public transit systems and smart growth development. Skill set requires a background in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and various Adobe systems.

Sr. Project Architect/Manager - (8+ years experience). Candidate will be responsible for all aspects of multi-million dollar projects and have a personable attitude, strong leadership and communication skills, and technical knowledge of an architectural project from inception through close out. Responsibilities will include supervision, research, planning, design documentation, administration, and effective coaching and mentoring of team staff. Must have experience in managing an architectural project team and a record of effective leadership/execution. Texas architectural registration required, LEED accreditation desired.

Sr. Architect/Urban Designer/Planner - (8+ years experience). Candidate will be responsible for leading a team working on public/private projects of various sizes and cost, land area and development density. Texas architectural registration required, AICP accreditation preferred, LEED accreditation desired.

Mid-Level Architects - (5+ years experience). Project work will include design/development and delivery of complex projects. A personable attitude, leadership and communication skills, as well as technical knowledge of architectural project delivery are required. Position requires a degree from an accredited college of architecture, record of effective project execution with path to registration underway. Texas architectural registration preferred, LEED accreditation desired.
