llewelyn-davies sahni was responsible for all the coordination and project management, agency approvals and the development of schedules and estimates of hard and soft cost. The firm managed the expectations of users (every property owner along the route was contacted, conducted public hearings, and feedback from the City of Conroe administrative staff was received) and implemented necessary changes to the delivery process.
The firm assisted the city in preparing the bid packages, the bidding process and selection of the contractor. Interaction with the contractor was to ensure predetermined quality. If change in the design was necessary, the changes would then be accomplished with the least impact on cost and schedule. Services included: coordination of route development, surveying, signage, property owner interaction, site engineering oversight, public process, cost and schedule management. The firm coordinated the design work of specific consultants responsible for signage, safety, landscape, material testing, traffic movement and surveying.
