L-DS served as a sub-consultant for the Harrisburg Visualization: the intersection of the METRO Rail with a major highway. L-DS provided all visualizations for public meetings supporting alternative conceptual designs and construction project cost estimates for a vehicle crossing conversion. The conversion of the existing at-grade vehicle crossing on Harrisburg Blvd., between Hughes Road and Cylor Street, to a grade separation facility considered three alternative concepts:
- METRO light rail track overpass with vehicle traffic at grade;
- METRO light rail track overpass with vehicle traffic overpass; and
- METRO light rail track underpass with vehicle traffic underpass.
