The project’s scope called for the removal of existing structures, including the previous banking facility and the demolition of buildings on land purchased for the expanded facility. It was necessary for the original bank to remain open during the construction of the replacement facility.
The new freestanding building is a single level, masonry structure with four covered motor lanes. A vaulted lobby gives the sense of a generous, formal space for banking patrons in an otherwise intimate facility.
